Training
Our team has implemented more than 30 resuscitation courses reaching more than 1000 healthcare providers from more than 14 hospitals across Rwanda.
These courses improve resuscitation capacity allowing hospitals to achieve accreditation requirements, patients to receive safe and better care, and healthcare providers to achieve license registration requirements and to practice with confidence.
Research and quality improvement
Our team has published more than 15 research and quality improvement projects in national and international journals on different topics such as:
1. Quality of childbirth in district hospitals
2. Choice of anesthesia specialty by undergraduate students
3. Better training in anesthesia residency programs in LMICs
4. Preoperative preparation
5. Postoperative pain management
6. Malnutrition in surgical patients
7. Access to safe emergency surgery
8. Safe critical care for obstetric patients
9. Hand hygiene in ICU, burnout awareness and prevention
